Check the EDMS history

A history of the document modifications is accessible. The EDMS history classifies every change of the documents in the space and related useful data : the reason of change, both EDMS and Confluence version, the the state of the socument, the date of the changer and its modifier.

To access the history, first go to the document view of the document page you want to check the history. Then, click on the hanging points button on the right side of the document view, and on “EDMS history” :

The DMC history of the document will appear in the form of a table :

Each line of the table correspond to a change of the document. Those changes are sorted chronologically.

The first column of this table is the reason of the document change, which reason can be

the creation of the page
the change of the draft document version
the publication of the document in the publication space
the state change of the document

Then, the other columns of the history correspond to

The EDMS Version of the current document based on your versioning
The Comala status of the document when the change occured
The date of the change
The modifier i.e. the Confluence user that caused the change. When the change concerns the state or a publication, the modifier will automatically be “Comala Workflows for Confluence Cloud”
The Confluence Version of the page, i.e. the number of times the document was published with Confluence, not with DMC
